Opening the first Vietnamese tourism office in Japan

On June 4, 2014, Viet Nam Tourism Association (VITA) will open its representative office in Tokyo (Japan). This is the first tourism office of Viet Nam in Japan.

 The tourism office will provide official information about Vietnamese tourism including tourist destinations, services, culture, attractions, events, investment policies… for citizens and travel businesses in Japan and the whole Northeast Asia region.

Besides, the office will take part in and organize tourism events in Japan to introduce and popularize Vietnamese tourism; develop cooperative relationship with tourism representative offices of other countries in Japan; contribute to attracting investment of Japanese businesses into Viet Nam and propose appropriate solutions to promote Japanese tourism market.

The tourism office will also support Vietnamese and Japanese travel businesses to lure tourists and help Vietnamese tourism administrative offices and local authorities to foster their efforts in promotion of Japanese market.
